The increasing high demand for communication has necessitated the invention of cellular telephones in the world. Advancements in technology have also played a critical part to see to it that communication technology serves the needs of people efficiently. Over the years the use of cellular telephone has moved from a luxurious to an essential. This is to the extent that people consider life without them as impossible. Behind the increasing popularity of Cellular telephones there are dozens of reason that include; technological offers, entertainment, growth in the cellular manufacturing industry and connectivity in the social networks (Aylor, 2012).

The growth in the cellular industry has contributed to higher competition and lower prices that lead to affordability of the technology. Furthermore user friendly features are developing to meet the demand lifestyle of the consumer. Cellular telephones have developed from essential communication devices to lifestyle facilitating devices. Users can take photos, send and receive emails, store private data, download music and videos, keep track of important life and official events as well as remain updated on the happening through news and social media .

Cellular Telephones as essential tools

Technological advancements have contributed to increased volumes of trade and commerce activities in the world over. The development and growth in the use of cellular phones has contributed to globalization of trade and commerce. Existent barriers previously perceived in communication have been broken owing to the growth in use of cellular telephone technologies. Inevitably traders and consumers have found it easy to obtain virtual and communicated knowledge on desired products....

It is also possible to use cellular telephone to draw up orders and make payments. This contributes to ease in undertaking commercial activities and reduced cost of transaction. Trade partners can easily share information without necessarily being looked up at a particular location. This is facilitated by the mobility aspect of the cellular technology. To trade and commerce cellular telephones have also reduce the time taken to undertake agreements between parties.
The advent of globalization being facilitated by technological advancement is also evidenced in the speed with which information is transmitted. Cellular telephone facilitates the transmission and reception of information timely and conveniently as and when it happens. This means that global events and happenings are at the reach of any cellular phone users. Does not matter the distance one can just log on to the internet from wherever they are and browse for news. Information is also availed through the ever growing social media networks allowing passage of news like a wild fire (Aylor, 2012).

The Cellular telephone is a grand innovation and there are several advantages to Cellular telephones. Cellular telephones have altered the society's way of thinking, operation and communication. Cellular telephones allow users the vantage of a wider chance to communicate by a principle call frequency reuse. Through this principle similar frequency is used by different telephones without interference to each other. Cellular telephones function within cells and can switch cells as the user moves around. One who is using a cellular telephone can drive for miles maintaining a conversation in the entire journey (Aylor, 2012).

Modern digital Cellular telephones can process millions of calculations per second in order to compress and decompress the voice stream. Cellular telephones have full duplex.
