All Eighteen-Year-Olds Should Be Required Term Paper

It is in full recognition of these negativities that we can begin to see with the utmost clarity how service in the military provides the very characteristics that utterly define what each of these lost and limited teenagers need. The military offers not only the schooling and education that is so very important for kids to continue after high school, it also offers them a means of discipline that will ultimately dictate their futures. Regardless of financial status, each teenager is given the opportunity to advance in any area of their own interest or ability. To the contrary, teenagers actually have the opportunity to earn money as they develop into young adults. The type of 'no-nonsense' restraint that the military demands of service men and women is exactly what many of our troubled youth are crying out for. The obligation bestowed on teens by the military provides them with a sense of acceptance that helps them to determine more clearly their ideas of direction. The expanse that is opened up for teens through the military broadens their horizons and depletes their pessimistic views on their limited opportunity. Most importantly, the military provides young people with a sense of self-worth and achievement that may otherwise remain void throughout the remainder of their lives.

Through personal experiences and through seeing those of others, I have developed a very interpersonal belief in the success that the military constantly achieves by remolding the very distinctions of every young person that enlists into their service. From family members to my spouse, and from my friends to my son, I...

My husband stands firmly by his own proclamations with the service through his own tribulations in being complexly troubled in many ways before he enlisted in the military during the Vietnam War. He often frightfully ponders what may have come of himself had he not taken the path of the military. I often ponder in the same fashion with regard to my son, who without the life altering changes that the military demands might very well be even deeper set in the dangerous ways that once plagued his life.
In sum, the idealistic environment that teens are exposed to through service in the military is imperative to their development. The military offers a way for kids to eliminate the aspects of their lives that can be detrimental to their futures. It is because of the success that every soldier has achieved through the military that the requirement for all eighteen-year-olds to perform military service is a concept without negative consequence.

Though times of war are testing and invoke fear for many, parents and teenagers alike, the potential without this type of opportunity is just as scary. Teens reaching the age of eighteen can find nothing but benefit through such service, and thus, should be required of it. In this fashion, we can be sure that every life has the opportunity to thrive in a way that we all deserve.
