Changing Rapidly And Technology Just Comes In Term Paper

¶ … changing rapidly and technology just comes in so fast and updates are happening everyday. In the field of science and information, humans are becoming more curious about everything and how can our brain absorb it. To answer curiosity of people, researchers would like to know how the brain processes what he received and passes it to our senses such as the sight, sound and touch.

Researchers used animals such as the adult rats to come up to their theories. They put an electrode that is thinner and smaller than the normal human hair and put it inside the brain of the adult rats so that they can monitor the activities of each cell that are resident in the brain. They came up with one theory that each sense has its own area in the brain where it is responsible for absorbing and processing information. Wallace (2004) stated that information is processed initially on a sense-by-sense basis and doesn't come together until much later. However, this view has recently been challenged by studies showing that processing in the visual area of the brain, for example, can be influenced by hearing and touch (Wallace, 2004)."

Researchers were able to prove that each part of the brain are responsible for delivering information, they tried to draw the brain of the rat and came up with the conclusion that each senses have their own part but then this areas can be shared through its borders. It is said that when a person lost one of the senses like for example the sense of sight, other senses can still be use and maximize because there are still borders that offers multi-sensory.

The brain is one of the most important parts of the body because it is the brain that manipulates every single cell in our body. Every action that we do, it is our brain that is responsible. Therefore the study of brain organization should be part of the anatomy because it concerns the human structure. Researchers should study more about the function of the brain so that people will be aware on what part of the body is connected to each nerve or cell in the brain.
