Goals
XYZ's goals include:
Assure delivery of and access to high quality healthcare services to all people at reasonable costs. This will minimize health threats in the environment.
Minimize health risks associated with personal behaviors
Enhance the quality of healthcare facilities, systems and services
IV. Establish and respond to emerging and new public health threats
V. Guarantee access to comprehensive and timely health related information to evaluate healthcare needs, develop programs and policies, as well as evaluate health services and outcomes (Duncan & Swayne, 2013).
Objectives
Our strategic goal will be to create an overall better experience for our patients and deliver the highest standard of healthcare possible. However, describing the patient experience and improving it comes with multitude factors for this long-term objective to be achieved, we must meet the following short-term objectives:
I. Develop ways of measuring clinical quality in all outpatient and inpatient departments
II. Provide satisfactory processes and patient-centered services
III. Monitor physician trends and performance
IV. Use qualitative data to demonstrate overall monthly improvement
V. Attract the best staff and physicians in the country or the world
Although various factors determine the success of the organization, a key strategy to achieve improved quality care is to create an improved information flow environment. This ensures patient information is available when necessary, in the required format, in an accurate and quality manner. Such an improvement will strengthen the cycle of workflow, which further enhances reliability for patients and great improvements in healthcare services. The organization will focus on robust technology and improved workflow to make it happen (Duncan & Swayne, 2013).
Strategies
To improve communications and streamline processes between systems, XYZ will identify ways to map and transform data despite the range in the geographical location of the linked framework. To implement a more efficient and accurate clinical documentation, the organization will establish ways to support the different formats of new sorts of health record systems. They include electronic health records (HER), continuity of care records (CCR) and electronic medical records (EMR). To acquire insight into the performance of the workflow, XYZ will identify ways of accessing key data in the most meaningful ways to view trends and report metrics (Knowlton & Phillips, 2013).
