The pressure of global challenging market has pressurized the management to change their course of action. The shortage of talented workforce and the restraint of retaining that talented workforce have forced the management to change their approach. The paradigm shift of authoritative and autocratic leadership is now transformational leadership where there is high reliance on communication; the management is now more focused on eliminating the communication gaps and empowering employees. It is there, and its affects will continue to increase with the passage of time. It cannot be avoided. It cannot be ignored. The best option to handle globalization from an individual perspective, or from a nations' perspective is that one's direction should be in the same direction, as that of globalization. It is only through it that globalization can be managed effectively.

American has to do a lot of work in order to successfully handle globalization. The nation has to adopt a flexible approach, has to respond to change, and has to fight globalization with innovation, flexibility, creativity and an open mind. It has to resolves many of its existing issues and prepare proactively for the issues that are likely to occur in the near future.
