Learning Methods Within a learning setting, each student comes with their individual package and it is not possible to have two pupils learning concepts in the same way despite the fact that they are taught with the same curriculum by the same educators as well. Naseem International School accommodates students from different cultures and backgrounds with different needs. The needs are not purely academic and learning needs only but also cultural and social needs hence care is needed. This paper looks at how teachers can plan for and assess the individual needs of students as well as identify and discuss strategies which promote and enhance the learning of students who have different educational needs (Project Ideal, 2008).

It is critical to asses the pupils in my class since they differ in terms of their abilities to learn and imbibe concepts in class. This assessment can be done as below:

Highest attainer: (Student A)

Identify your criteria:

Prepared a quiz for the class

Student A took the shortest time and scored the highest points

Lowest attainer: (Student B)

Identify your criteria:

Prepared a quiz for the class

Student B. took relatively longer time but still never scored as high as student A.

Table 1

This criterion shows that student A is the highest attainer while B. is the lowest attainer.

Another issue that might arise is that the child might feel demoralized when they know they are being treated in a special way, hence I should make sure that when planning for their work the child should not feel out of place. Hence, planning should be done carefully so that no child in the class might feel superior or inferior in any...

As an Arts teacher handling children of 11 years of age and below, who have various needs I should ensure that I strive to create a wide variety of avenues when teaching so that they can cater for the pupils with different abilities, strengths and needs in the learning process. The students should acquire the information presented to them, process it, make sense of the information and at the same time develop materials that will be used to teach and asses them that will ensure all the students in the classrooms learn effectively without different abilities being a hindrance. Strategies to be used are as below
Strategies

Student A

Student B

One:

Plan oral presentations by the child to help other children in the class understand more on what has been taught in class.

The use of visual teaching aids like drawings, making of posters, video to reinforce recall of taught concepts.

Two:

Plan for charts that include mind mapping that will help the child

The use of maps and images

Three:

Pairing of student A with Student B. during scribbling so that they can help each other.

With time identifying which student (fast attainer) is student B. most confident with and comfortable working along.

Four:

Setting up groups where this student can be a group leader.

Allocating the student to the group most comfortable with and with a balance of students from group A and B.

Five:

Assigning of student A specific leadership role in a role plays to enhance his understanding on a particular subject matter and encourage sharing.

Ensuring the student is an active member of…

(Niglas, 2004) Stated to be research questions that should guide the empirical study design are those as follows: (1) How have quantitative and qualitative elements been related? What type of combined designs have been sued? What is the level of integration between qualitative and quantitative aspects of studies? (2) Why have the authors chosen to prefer multimethod or mixed design to monomethod approach? Do they offer a rationale for their choice? What

proponents of evidence based instruction represent one end of the methods of teaching continuum where practices that have been tested empirically using rigorous research designs are considered to be the only valid method of instruction (Odom et al., 2005). On the other end of the spectrum are methods that may be have some basis for use such an intuition, theory, etc. But have not been subject to empirical scrutiny

growing recognition of the changing educational needs of college students, particularly those attending community colleges. In response to this awareness, reform efforts have been implemented in order to meet the needs of students. As reform efforts have been considered, increasing attention has been directed toward assessing the influence of learning styles on academic performance. The term 'learning styles' has been used to refer to the ways in which individuals

Abstract Theories of learning are critical for informing pedagogical practice and promoting a deeper understanding of human behavior and mental processes. Behaviorism offers corresponding theories of learning that focus mainly on observable and measurable outcomes in performance. Cognitive theories of learning emphasize numerous complex thought processes such as assimilation and accommodation of new material, and also takes into account emotional aspects such as motivation. Learning and Assessment Basics In a regular education classroom, eighth grade learners can be difficult to work with. That is largely because they are starting to develop more than they have in the past - not just physically, but mentally and emotionally, as well. With that in mind, teachers who work with eighth grade learners must be aware of what these students want and need in their learning experience (Pellegrino, Chudowsky,
