The article selected on this front addressed a legal topic and is titled, Nike Sues Lululemon over Mirror Home Gym. The article has been referenced elsewhere in this text. In essence, the article concerns itself with a patent infringement suit against Lululemon. As has been pointed out in the article, earlier this year, this particular apparel company was sued by Nike which alleged that six of its patents had been infringed upon by Lululemons Mirror Home Gym. More specifically, it is important to note that as the authors of the article indicate, Lululemon was accused by Nike of manufacturing and offering for sale the Mirror Home Gym as well as associated technology without permission or mandate from Nike. As a consequence of the said alleged infringement (willful), Nike sought damages as well as a host of other unspecified remedies. It its defense, Lululemon issued a statement indicating that in addition to being broad, the patents highlighted in the suit were largely invalid. It underscored its intention to defend its position in court.
