¶ … sales associate/manager in training at the Tan Company. I was responsible for the training of new employees, the sale of products, the cleanliness of the tanning beds and tanning environment, and all aspects of ensuring that the customers were pleased with their experience. In addition to these responsibilities, I worked closely with vendors and maintained equipment that was used in day-to-day operations. I received many bonuses for my ability to sell products at high volumes, and was also voted employee of the month, showcasing my ability to perform my job duties well.

Currently, I aspire to locate a management position with a quality company. Today's world is moving so quickly that what was once considered to be 'highly educated' is changing, and a Master's Degree will give me a higher opportunity to move forward with my career plans and obtain a better job. It indicates that I am serious about my field of study and therefore my work as well. By receiving my degree from William Woods University, I will be showing my future employer that I have gone to a quality University that is aware of what is important.

3. I have many skills and personal characteristics that I can bring to the graduate program at William Woods University. One of the most important of these is the fact that I am very outgoing and interested in learning as much as I possibly can about my field of study. This means that I will work hard, not disrupt class, and not simply 'take up space' in the classroom.

4. As part of a sales and management team, I have worked very hard to be a team player. I will bring this interest in working with others to the University, and this will help me participate in many of the activities that will be important to the classes that I will be involved in. This group work will also show instructors and future employers that I am very serious about what I have chosen to do and that I take work in the management field as being very important.
