Even if the two candidates won "fair and square," Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are both fatally flawed and so was their pathway to the nomination that they procured. Hillary was an obvious beneficiary of a Democratic National Committee that clearly wanted her to win and Donald Trump would seem to have grabbed the ire aspirations…

Abstract This essay focuses on the possible ramifications, both negative and positive, of a Trump presidency, from the perspective of Trump as the President-elect.  Because Trump has no experience in public service, much of the paper is speculative and focuses on what is known about the people Trump is selecting for his cabinet.  The paper acknowledges that Trump, a Republican President, will be supported by a Republican House of Representative and Senate in

On the surface, the current US President Donald Trump and the 1960s radical activist Saul Alinsky could not have less in common. Trump is currently overseeing what has become the longest government shutdown in US history due to his budget negotiations with Congress over his desire for appropriations to fund a wall on the southwest border of the United States.
