Here, although it appears that healthcare professionals where trained on the specific technology, the implementation overlooked the fact that many physicians may not have technological expertise to begin with. In addition, it appears that properly feedback was not obtained by all those using the technology. The technology may have been implemented without regard to all users of the technology and confirmation that all users understand how to leverage the technology for their own personal benefit. Finally, the blatant disregard for authority, policies and procedures speaks to a cultural issue within the facility. Many of the physicians believe they can get away with not following the established rules in the hospital.
