Effective Classroom Management Plan

Implement discipline techniques

Discipline is a very important virtue to teach the students. So, before everything else is taught to them, it is essential that a teacher will impose discipline upon his students and let them know that it is an important part to succeed in their learning objectives. However, teachers should also note that discipline without causing stress to the students is important.

Establish friendly relationship with the students

There is always a notion in students that teachers are people that they have to be afraid of. One essential technique which teachers must establish with their students is a friendly or parent-like relationship in order to remove the students' fear in them and in order to allow an effective learning process in students. There is a tendency that students who fear their teachers are not able to concentrate properly in their studies.

Implementation of interesting methods of teaching and learning

One method that is effective in managing the learning process of students is the implementation of new technologies. This is because these days, students are technology-savvy and having the opportunity to operate technological devices in school such as the computers increases students' enthusiasm to learn.

The above plan may establish a challenge to a teacher's capability in setting an organized method that can effectively bring proper learning and proper behavior in students within the classroom environment. For instance, implementing discipline techniques is the foremost challenge, and may also be a problem, because students have different personalities. One may be open to discipline while another may be stubborn.

The implementation of technological methods of teaching and learning can similarly become a challenge and a problem. It is a challenge because both the teachers' and students' capability to use technology will be encouraged. On the other hand, depending on the motivations established in both the teachers and the students, and on their interest in technology, problem in applying advanced and technological methods in learning may cause problems.

It is common that challenges and problems in any classroom management will exist. The important thing is that the teachers should have the ability of finding the proper strategies to solve them.
