The facts should be collected, summarized in full and nothing should be omitted that is relevant or included that is not verifiable unless it is made crystal clear that it's just a theory or a possibility and not a fact. Staying on the subject of child custody arrangements, when a forensic psychologist is acting in the employee and/or at the behest of a person that is vying for custody, that throws the entire process on its head because the forensic psychologist is presumably not going to do anything or make any assessments that will hurt their client but they have an ethical duty to do so if the facts support that. It seems to be like lawyers in that regard.
