Danielle King notes that school was easy for her and that she did not have to do a lot of studying in high school. Her college experience resembles mine, however, in that college "was a little tougher" -- yet Danielle obtained some extra help to overcome obstacles. She notes that she learned how to study in college and this is a great example of what a student must learn in order to really develop skills as a good student -- and studying is one of those skills.

Danielle's life orientation was also like mine, so we both move toward others for support (Wheel, 2014). Her experience of pushing people away when something bad happens is also similar to what I sometimes feel, so it is nice seeing that what I experience may be common. As for the six steps of modeling, Danielle felt that modeling the process to the students was the easiest and like me she felt that creating a rationale was the hard part. To me that says that we both struggle with creating a new explanation -- but with work I'm sure it can be accomplished.

Angela Zarybnicky notes that she "had an older sister who would usually help me" in school -- which reminds me of the role my mother played in my education: she was always there to help me. I think this help from another person is essential in education -- and as Danielle showed in her reflection, when she reached college she obtained help from another person to learn how to study. So it is clear to me that a guide is really necessary when it comes to learning -- at least for a little while. After all, Dante had a guide throughout the Inferno -- so no doubt we should have guides as we attend to our education. Angela's life orientation was dissimilar to mine, as she found that she tended to move away from others; however, she notes that as a teacher it is necessary to move towards others and this corresponds with what all three of us -- Angela, Danielle and myself -- have experienced regarding education.

School education should go above and beyond its general tendencies to attempt to produce good grades. A proper school should contain fine educators, ones who find that nurturing and nourishing the students are the top priority. While this may be different from climbing the higher statistics -- an inevitable goal due to the sole purpose of budgets -- one can still argue that the statistics will follow if the basis

, 1993). On the other hand, though, and more importantly for the purposes of this analysis, some studies have shown that those students who completed a high school economics class still developed a more keen awareness of the conditions that contributed to economic outcomes and what role they may play in later life. According to Lopus and Maxwell (1994), "Students who took high school economics, irrespective of the curriculum, did not

There is also a definitely a positive correlation between extracurricular activities and retention and academic performance. By creating appropriate, engaging, and entertaining extra curricular activities and by involving all the students, schools could not only expect to increase the learning outcomes of all the students, but most importantly, make the children to enjoy the learning process. In this case the educational institutions will need to provide access to student records to evaluate how well students performed when they attended test preparation vs. when they did not attend test preparation classes. Much as the researcher proposes, Henze & Lucas (1993) predict it is possible to "shape" classroom instruction and test preparation courses to promote greater success and mastery of language among high school students (p. 54). I had a crush of my own during high-school, but I knew that she was beyond my league. Jessica was probably the most beautiful girl in the school and she was a senior (I was a sophomore at the time). I wrote her the most beautiful poem that I could possibly think of and I hoped that this would show her that I was actually different from the other guys.
