¶ … Multicultural Education The purpose of this article is to show how complex multicultural education is. There is much to be learned from studying this, and the roots of it really need to involve a multidisciplinary approach. Without this approach, the goal of multicultural education is never actually realized. Having a framework that can be used to create concepts in this area helps to show that there are many different genres that the research into this area can be involved in, and they all important.

Bennett's main goal in her article is to show that there are many different ways to prepare these types of programs and figure out how best to teach students. Sometimes just rearranging a program that is already in existence is the best idea. Other times, it is necessary...

Having an article such as this one helps teachers and educators to do the very best that they can to help all of their multicultural students.
Another important point in Bennett's article is that those that come up with multicultural theories really need to consultant original research when they look at ways to study this issue. It is in this way that more possibilities are created that will allow teachers and other educators to practice much of what they are taught when it comes to multicultural education. In the past, many of those that dealt with multicultural theory had been consulting other theorists and other secondary sources. This is not really giving the multicultural issue the study that it actually needs. The theorists are simply getting information from one another instead of actively trying to discover more about the issue on their own. The genres that are discussed in this paper are actually only proposed by the author.
