Research allows us to determine if the current initiatives have a positive or negative social change. Without research, it would not be easy to establish the effects of a particular initiative or strategy (Babbie, 2017). Therefore, research and social change are tied to each other in that one allows for the determination of the effects of the other. Research is carried out with the aim of analyzing and determining the impact that a social change phenomenon would have. The results of the study would establish how effective the social change has been.
