¶ … Performance in This Class Reflects the Following Dispositions:
Social responsibility. This class has emphasized the importance of applying the principles of social responsibility to all actions and activities. Through an attitude of social responsibility it becomes possible to find meaning in even the most mundane of activities. As Colson (n.d.) points out, the heart of Christianity is social responsibility, making social responsibility integral to personal growth and development.
Commitment and work ethic. This class has taught me the importance of commitment and the value of cultivating a strong work ethic. The Bible is filled with references to the importance of self-discipline and taking responsibility for our actions. When we commit to a group such as a class, we become part of something greater than ourselves. Through working together, we achieve what we could never do alone. A strong work ethic has Biblical underpinnings (2 Thessalonians 3:6-18).
Reflection. Reflecting on our performance allows us to recognize our weaknesses and faults and make changes accordingly. We are encouraged to be honest with others and with ourselves.
4. Integrity. This class has revealed the importance of personal integrity. "The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity," (Proverbs11:3). Integrity is a spiritual and ethical principle that will further guide me in my career.
5. Professionalism. One of the hallmarks of maturity and success is the evolution of a professional attitude. A professional attitude leads to professional behaviors, which allows for all my actions to reflect spiritual principles. Professionalism refers to the willingness to continually cultivate my skills and engage in ongoing networking with others in my field. Even if the Bible does not refer to professionalism because it is a relatively new term, it is clear that professionalism refers to a cluster of spiritual traits that enhance the quality of work outcomes (Muranda, 2016).

repositories of ethical values, religion, philosophy, cultural experience, and law influence managers. Although different doctrine controls different religions, all of the major religions preach some form of responsibility to society in general. Stockholders and the Bible In modern definitions, stockholders or shareholders are individuals or institutions that legally own a share of stock in a public or private corporation. Stock represents assets of an organization and is usually partitioned into shares that are issued at the beginning of the business incorporation or later on with approval from the Board of Directors. Stock represents a fraction of ownership in an organization, and there may
Margaret Atwood set out to depict a society in the future, one that in her eyes had characteristics that needed to be solved from the present. This novel is dystopian in nature which presents a dysfunctional society in the future as seen in the eyes of the author. It is however instrumental to note that most of the works of fiction that are set in the future, are actually meant
Bible in the Life of the Church Today Today, the Holy Bible remains the mainstay of Christian churches around the world, but there remains a debate over its precise role in the life of the church. Views in the New Testament Besides the Hebrew Bible which mainly refers to the Old Testament, the New Testament also has its views about poverty and social justice. The New Testament majorly makes use of the Christian virtues throughout the whole book with Jesus His disciples being the main mentors. Most of the Christian virtues given by Jesus and the latter seem to be favoring the poor. The prayer that Jesus
Bible: 1 Samuel 17 The story of David and Goliath has become a classic parable of how the weak can defeat the strong, size doesn't matter, and that all things are possible through "the Lord Almighty" (New International Version, 1 Sam. 17.45). From a secular point-of-view, it can be read as a parable of how physical size matters little when set against courage, skill, and an iron will, which is
