Spirituality PowerPoint Presentation: Children and Spirituality Slide 1-Introduction: Too often in secular life, we draw a distinct line of separation between the construction of ethical morality and the presence of spirituality in our lives. The result is a sense or responsibllty to ethical parameters as a matter of sociological adherence and rule-following, as opposed to a genuine demonstration of one's spiritual values. But my research and my personal growth as an educator have shown that this separation need not be the case.
Especially when it comes to the inner-lives of our children, it is absolutely incumbent upon us to show that spirituality is to be embraced in every capacity. For adults, it can often be difficult to find access to this part of the psyche.
It often becomes crowded out by the more practical and pedestrian demands of everyday life. But children are not yet encumbered by these practical demands and, as such, tend to still approach the world with a sense of wonder and newness. These are the qualities of a spiritual being, even if the.
