*Students are expected to achieve competency with the clinical skills list

**Procedures are skills that may be available for students but are not required.

Summary of strengths:

I have a wide array of clinical skills and procedures that you can confidently perform independently. This includes Rapid Strep Test, Ophthalmic Examination, Otoscopic Examination, Inhalation Therapy, Peak flow meter, Pulmonary Function Tests, Wound Care, Interpret H/H, Mini Mental Status Exam, Breast Examination, STI Testing, Auscultation Fetal Heart Tones, Fundal Height Assessment, Pregnancy Test, Pelvic Exam, Testicular Exam, Aerosol/Inhalation Administration, Informed Consent, Normal Growth and Development evaluation, Peak flow meter Measurement and Interpretation, Pulmonary Function Test Performance and Interpretation, and Tick Removal. I have a great deal of experience providing a number of services and functions, so this is really just a short list and not comprehensive. Overall, my strengths are in skills, diagnostics, and reproductive health. I have a good ability to interpret Chest X-rays, H/H, and Laboratory/Diagnostic Testing, which indicates a strong diagnostic acumen. I also have a solid foundation in reproductive health procedures, including conducting STI Testing, Breast Examination, Fundal Height Assessment, Pregnancy Test, and Testicular Exam.

Opportunities for growth:

There are several procedures like Corneal Foreign Body Removal, Management of Epistaxis, Remove Foreign Body (ear, eye, nose, soft tissue, other), and more advanced surgical procedures like Suturing, Staple Placement, and Biopsies that I have not yet performed or am new to. Also, I could grow in the area of specialized examinations, and reproductive health enhancements

Now, write 34 possible goals and objectives for this practicum experience. Ensure that they follow the SMART Strategy, as described in the Learning Resources.

One of the main goals for this practicum experience is to enhance proficiency in advanced surgical procedures. The skill and precision required in surgical tasks necessitate consistent practice and feedback (Abich et al., 2021). Specifically, the objective is to perform at least 10 suturing procedures under the monitoring of experienced supervisors. The benchmark for success in this area is to achieve a proficiency rating of "Mostly Confident" in at least 70% of these procedures. This would increase my confidence and make it more likely that patients receive the highest standard of care.

Another important goal is to improve competence in specialized examinations....…expanding knowledge, experience and skills in the domain of reproductive health. Reproductive health is a cornerstone of primary care, and mastering its various procedures is essential for me as I grow in my nursing profession (Kumar & Diaz, 2019). The specific objective in this area is to undergo rigorous training and perform at least 5 IUD Placements and Removals. By the conclusion of the practicum, my goal is to achieve a "Mostly Confident" rating in these procedures. This would mean that patients seeking reproductive health services can trust in the quality and safety of the care they receive.

Finally, my ultimate goal is to master new procedures, especially those currently categorized as "New." These are procedures that I have either never performed or that I am not yet familiar with. The objective is to dive deep into hands-on training sessions for at least half of these "New" procedures. The aim is to perform each of these at least twice under supervision. This would help more with delivering a holistic development, making sure that I have a truly deep breadth of skills so that I can…

Holistic Medicine While there are many over-the-counter (OTC) medicines that work to treat the common cold, premenstrual syndrome, insomnia and many other illnesses, most conventional medications simply mask symptoms and may inhibit the body's natural ability to heal itself, according to Dworkin (1999). However, herbs and vitamins have a tendency to be gentler on the body and often enhance the body's natural recovery process. For this reason, many people are swapping

Clinical Skills Self AssessmentAs an advanced practice nursing student, my journey in the world of healthcare has been rewarding, with each encounter and every experience increasing my skills, knowledge, and clinical acumen. An important part of the path towards becoming a proficient healthcare professional, however, is self-assessment. Women's reproductive health is a focus of my studies and practice, and this paper addresses my self-assessment in this area.Self-Assessment and InsightAfter completing

It is never possible to know everything about the world: We each possess a limited perspective. However, the point of research (as opposed to other ways of investigating the world, such as writing poetry) is to maximize the amount of knowledge that one can acquire.
