Education for the Mind, Heart, And Soul Intellectual growth, social stimulation, and holistic development: these are the main thrusts that I subscribe to; main thrusts that I used as my motivations in planning to pursue a career in pharmacy. One important reason why I chose to have a career in pharmacy is I want to achieve a formal education that constructively affects my mind, heart, and soul. These three important elements, I believe, are present in the pharmacy course I intend to take.

Why these three elements? For me, an education must not only focus on matters that promote intellectual growth, but education must also develop an individual socially and spiritually. Combination of these elements will not only make me a successful Pharmacy student, but also prepare me for a life ahead of me as a pharmacist in the future. The following are my reasons why I chose Pharmacy as my career course in the University.

The field of natural sciences has always fascinated me, particularly how the sciences can be useful for making great inventions or innovations that pertain to human health and development. Pharmacy provides a balance between the intellectual knowledge and application of the natural sciences. Not only will I receive essential knowledge and information about Pharmacy, but I will also be able to practice and apply this knowledge by practicing my knowledge through service programs that are commonly conducted in Pharmacy degree programs.
