¶ … Motivation for Applying for Master's Degree Program Thank you in advance for your consideration of my application to the University of Oulu. My goals, which are clearly specified in this essay, match up seamlessly with the design of the International Business Management programme at Oulu.

To wit, I am highly motivated, I am proactive, I am focused on a career with a deep global outlook, and I have a passion for new challenges and for intellectual growth, which I believe will be a major boost to my desire to become a leader in my field.

Why do I wish to study at the University of Oulu? Firstly, I have had a great deal of experience in business management, as I am currently the Vice President of Basahel Geoconsult, a firm that provides business services related to geology, mining, and engineering. Our company is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. My bachelor's degree in business administration was, for me, important albeit I know now that I was just merely opening the book that will lead to my future.

Secondly, I want to attend your highly-lauded university so I can turn the pages needed on my way to a new, far more forward-looking and knowledgeable chapter in my life. I am motivated to provide the most thorough services for our clients that I possibly can, and with a Master's Degree in International Business Management, I will be in a position to provide the competency and resourcefulness for our clients.

My goals are to improve our company and to bring it into focus when companies and governments need services we provide. Those services include: engineering geology; mapping; hydro geology and environmental services; mining and mineral exploration; mining geology; acoustic scanning interpretation; geophysical studies; and research and development.

Thirdly, I have always been driven by business strategies that embrace the highest ethical and moral values -- that my father and my family have instilled in me -- and this has motivated me to seek out the best possible solutions for our clients. I firmly believe the University of Oulu can provide me with the learning opportunities that will allow me to meet any new challenges.

The true task of an honest, well-educated, and gracious business manager is to find and implement those practical and profitable answers to our clients' concerns. In addition, I am committed to become a learned professional that can find answers that others either could not find or were not motivated to search for. I believe that the Master's Programme in International Business Management will allow me to become familiar with the very latest turnkey technologies which those involved globally with business issues certainly need to acquire.

The multidisciplinary aspect of the Master's Programme in International Business Management has great appeal to me. Moreover, I am pleased to know I will be entering an esteemed program that has three core.
