To ensure that the improvements made at Providence Healthcare under CEO Walshs leadership are sustained and further developed, it is essential to focus on organizational communication. To do this, CEO Walsh should create an environment of open communication between staff, patients and stakeholders (Randhawa et al., 2021). This could be achieved by introducing or refining existing communication channels, such as email, phone calls and face-to-face meetings. The intention of these channels would be to provide an open forum where individuals can share their ideas and provide feedback, allowing the organization to continuously evaluate its progress and adapt accordingly.

In order to embed the values that have been part of her leadership style and foster collaboration, CEO Walsh should also put in place effective internal and external communication strategies. For example, she could implement a values-based communication campaign to ensure that employees, stakeholders, and partners understand the importance of the values-based leadership that she is advocating. Moreover, she could provide training and support to staff members to ensure that they are able to effectively communicate the organization's values to patients, stakeholders and partners (Heckert et al., 2020).

By focusing on organizational communication, CEO Walsh can ensure that the improvements made at Providence Healthcare are sustained and further developed. Open communication channels will help the organization to continuously evaluate its progress and adapt according to the feedback received. Additionally, implementing a values-based communication campaign will help to ensure that the values she is advocating for are embedded within the organization, and that employees and partners understand their importance.
