Amy selected the Soldiers Home in Holyoke as her clinical site. The said healthcare facility was founded in 1952 and has licensed nursing staff who operates the long-term care facility. Apart from the activities that are conducted by nurses to achieve high quality care for veterans as highlighted by my colleague, the said facility ensures quality by conducting daily housekeeping inspections at veteran care areas (Bump, 2017). SHH strives to ensure quality care of veterans so as to achieve its core mission which is to provide the highest quality of personalized services with dignity and honor to veterans in Massachusetts. My colleagues selected clinical site relates given that it also offers residential care to families. To prepare for the nursing leader role, Army could focus on becoming culturally competent. Cultural competence happens to be instrumental in the realm of nursing as it promotes interprofessional collaboration (Al-Dossary, 2017). In acquiring cultural competence, my colleague will be able to better collaborate with others in the further enhancement of positive outcomes for patients.

Eric selected Interdynamics Inc. as his clinical site. As highlighted by Eric, the said facility is located in Maryland, Lamham MD. Apart from working with...…facility also provides other services which are inclusive of, but they are not limited to; crisis intervention, nutrition and hormonal assessments, observing, interviewing, and diagnosis and treatment of psychological symptoms that are more severe.
