Christian Worldview in Lowe's Mission and Vision Statements

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is a retail company located in America, and it specializes in home improvement. Its headquarters are in Mooresville, which is in North Carolina. The company mainly operates several chains of retail stress in Canada and the USA (Turgut, n.d). The company's mission statement helps notify the world of what they do. The vision statements are a picture of the company's future and what it hopes its future to look like.

Moreover, a Christian worldview is sometimes referred to as a biblical worldview (McLeod, 2016). It entails specific ideas and beliefs that a Christian group, individual, or culture can interpret the world and interact with other things. Different Christian dominations have worldviews based on various biblical interpretations and thematic elements of the world. However, they all conclude that there is one God who dislikes evil. An example of a Christian worldview example is distrusting secular authority. Thus, Lowe's has a mission and vision statement that portrays a different worldview.

The company has a mission statement working together to deliver the correct home improvement products and provide the best value and services across every community and channel it serves. On the other hand, the vision statement inspires a strategic planning framework. It articulates the hope and dream of the business by describing what the company's future actions will be. The firm has the vision to give the customers solutions to home improvement by providing the best products, services, and even prices, and this will make it the first choice for people to improve their homes. The above statement has a dual purpose, and it helps the company's employees to stay focused on the tasks they do. They are also encouraged to become more innovative and productive to achieve their goals (McLeod, 2016).

Nonetheless, the mission statement defines a company's culture, ethics, values, goals, and plan. It also specifies how each of the above applies to the stakeholders. The company's stakeholders are the distributors, suppliers, employees, community, and shareholders (Dincer & Hcioglu, 2017). It...…company hence improving its sales and profits. It would also make the employees yearn to stay in the company and become loyal to it, reduce turnover when it comes to labor, and even increase productivity. Ethics also makes more employees want to work in the business. It reduces recruitment and even helps a from acquiring the most talented workers. Besides, it also attracts investors and keeps its share at a higher price, protecting the business from takeover. Suppose the company has unethical behavior or lacks a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In that case, it may damage a company's reputation and make it less attractive to stakeholders, leading to losses.

In summary, a Christian worldview could be linked to Lowe's vision and mission statement. The vision and mission statement shows the company's goals and achievements. It also offers its values and culture to see if they align with theirs. A Christian worldview calls for the people to work ethically, which is what Lowe's mission and vision statements show.
