A Multicultural Perspective
The world is getting more diverse, and people of different cultural backgrounds interact. It is becoming a requirement for most jobs to have a diverse work team and create a safe work environment that caters to every person's cultural orientation. The United States' current social-political scene promotes social justice for everyone irrespective of gender, sex, sexual orientation, and race. To prevent conflict among the groups, there are four strategies groups might use to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. These strategies are; acknowledging power and culture in a workplace, developing multicultural competencies, and creating brave and humanizing workspaces.
