a. Higher Calling – According to the WBOC, the odds of being born are 1 and 400 Trillion, which equates to a miracle. Due to the sheer improbability of being born, it is important to recognize that the overall rarity associated with the event. Due to this statistic it is important to not squander the life that we are so fortunate of being given. I usually think of this statistic when I am depressed or feeling emotional down. This motivates me as the odds are so steep against my birth that it is my obligation to fulfil my calling.
b. Duty – A sense of duty is also an element that motivates me. I believe that each human is unique with their own traits, qualities, and characteristics. These skills should be leveraged to provide value for society as the odds of being born are so low. Due to the sheer improbability of being born, it is highly unlikely that anyone throughout the history of the world we have my own skills and traits. As a result, it is my duty to the rest of the world to realize my full potential.
2. What is one crazy almost impossible challenge you would like to take on? What would the payoff be if you accomplished it?
I would like educated every middle-class America about financial literacy. I believe this one of the most important subjects in an individual’s life, but it is not readily accessible to both high-school and college students. I would like to help make it mandatory that all high school and college students must take a financial literacy course in order to graduate. Due to its sheer importance to the improvement to society, the skills and concepts should be taught to each member of society. This contributes to the proper exchange of capital that can ultimately improve the world through better products and services.
