Dental Education: Why I am Interested in XXX Dental School

There are several reasons why I would like to attend XXX for my dental education. First, I live in Los Angeles, California. While it is beautiful here and there are fine schools nearby, I would prefer the experience of attending school away from home where I feel I can concentrate on my studies and not have the distractions that so often come from being close to one's home town, friends, and family. Basically, I am looking for a different atmosphere than what this part of California provides, and am hoping that XXX will accept me and give me the opportunity to pursue my education there.

Another reason I would like to attend XXX is that it is a very high-quality school that is known nationwide for its high standards in academics. This is very important to me, as I am a serious student and am interested only in learning and doing the best that I can in the process of obtaining my dental education. I am not looking to attend a college where I can party all of the time and just get by while getting a degree. I realize that there are many colleges like this, but I considered myself an intelligent individual and realize that kind of behavior will not hurt anyone but me by wasting my time and money. It is also possible that I would never finish school and realize my dreams if I had that kind of attitude about studies. Let me assure you that I do not, and that I take the pursuit of education very seriously.

The third and final reason that I would like to attend XXX is that the renovations are complete and the new building for the dental school and clinic has recently been opened. This will allow me the opportunity to work at a state-of-the-are facility that is modern and clean, and I will be able to utilize the latest equipment and learn the latest techniques, so that when I finish my education and begin my career I will be able to give my patients the very best care that I can and make their time with me as pleasant as possible.
