The potential drawbacks to using a private security force at the stadium include the need for cohesive training that reflects the school and community's legal and ethical codes, as well as appropriate procedures. Therefore, an officer training manual is critical.
The prime objective of the security force will be to maintain law and order and ensure that all patrons enjoy the game safely. To accomplish these goals, security personnel will prevent anyone from entering the stadium with weapons and other potentially dangerous devices. This will require a brief security check of each patron before entering the stadium, after tickets are taken.
Officers will wear a uniform at all times to distinguish them and prevent fraud. Security personnel will be unarmed except for unit leaders. All officers remain connected with communications devices that are to remain on at all times. The communication devices are linked to local law enforcement agencies for back-up support if necessary. In case of a natural disaster or terrorist incident, the local law enforcement community will be on hand to provide assistance. Security personnel will therefore be expected to fulfill the duties of first responder. At least one security officer per station is required to be trained in emergency response.

Personnel will also be on guard for vandalism of public property. This will require a skeleton crew to stand by after the game and monitor the premises.
