Professional designers aren't entitled to take exclusive credit for any design whose creation has involved collaboration between two or more designers (Crawford, 34). Further, professional designers aren't encouraged to accept projects which are likely to involve conflicting interests and, thus, dispute, without the consent of the client (Crawford, 38).

The American Institute of Graphic Arts' (AIGA's) Design Business and Ethics guideline series delineates crucial professional and ethical challenges faced by professional designers and purchasers of graphic designs. The work explores chief designer concerns when it comes to remaining successful, and directly addresses individual rights protection.

The AIGA's Design Business and Ethics covers norms every designer is required to abide by. The norms aim at guiding workplace conduct and decision-making as well as, successively, career goals. In other words, the ethics and norms define designers' career objectives. Hence, for achieving success in this field, I need to follow those norms.

They are required to assume heavy workloads, filling specialized service needs not available within firms. They are faced with enormous creativity barriers. With the design field's growth and re-bouncing of the economy, a number of designers now have so much work on their hands that their creativity is getting compromised (The Creative Group).
The article proved to be an extremely enlightening and resourceful one, highlighting 4 trends that unavoidably impact the careers of numerous in-house graphic designers. It has been composed following a survey of creative sector heads and almost six hundred members of the AIGA.

The article stimulated me to reorient by career plans and objectives, spurring me to immediately adopt this profession. Freelancing creates extraordinary experiences, particularly concerning handling actual paying customers. I need to know how to handle diverse customers' needs and demands, multitask, protect myself, etc.

Huge creativity obstacles have been highlighted as a career trends in this article. But the author fails to offer solutions to this problem.
