Financial analysts must be able to clearly communicate their findings and recommendations to both colleagues and clients. Strong writing and presentation skills are essential in this field. Financial analysts typically work in banks, insurance companies, accounting firms, or other financial institutions. They may also work for government agencies or large corporations (Carpenter, 2022).

A career as a financial and investment analyst requires a strong foundation in mathematics, economics, and finance.
