Yes, there is a different perspective that can offering related to the authors statement. For one organization need to for first reinforce constant innovation. As the continues to matriculate through the digital transformation, employee learning must translate into organizational learning. It is now not enough for employees to learn a skill, as research has shown that employee skill development may not translate into the organizations benefit (Alonazi, 2021). With the digital transformation currently underway, employees will need to acquire skills that enhance organizational development. This includes skills in science, technology, and other STEM related fields. This is particularly true as many nations are now developing their own technologies to rival that of the United States. China for example, has a very strong collectivistic culture that is predicated on the greater good. Those that stand out are often, shun, ostracized or punished. Here, the good of the organization is higher than the good of the prominence of the individual. In American organizations the opposite is true. Here individualism is rewarded and can come at the expense of an organization. CEO greed which caused the financial crisis, individual political ambitions related to masking, and even lobbying groups all emphasize their own benefit to the detriment of society as a whole.

Organizations must therefore look to enhance business processes over time. Efficiencies will lead to higher profitability and more sustainable operations within a much more complex operating environment. Aspects such as artificial intelligence will become more pronounced in the future. The ability to leverage technology as a means of organization development will become a focal point for organizations of the future, particularly as they compete internationally. Finally, the employee base must be skilled enhance to enhance the competitive position of the organization relative to peers within the industry overall.

As it relates to learning, research has shown the...…group discussed many different perspectives. We even discussed the presidency and how Donald Trump essentially lied to many Americans regarding the vaccine and its merits.

As a group, I feel that we are not decent at building block 2. Here we discussed various topics related to competitive trends in the industry and how they are impacting employment opportunities within the nation overall. We also discussed the need for learning organizations within the overall economy and how to better address employee needs. We discussed artificial intelligence and how it can impact all routine organizations. Aspects such as finance, accounting, administrative tasks, and other more formulaic positions will be automated, thus casting out a large percentage of the working population. As a result, employees will need to focus heavily on their training and development to gain skills that can help mitigate this inevitable transition into a much more competitive working environment.
