This is because this text is able to offer a more nuanced perspective of major biblical pillars in terms of their own historical and literary viewpoint, while interlacing it with strong theological content.

Good preaching, according to Greidanus, has a firm grasp of the Biblical text and is able to clearly and comfortably discuss the overall message of the text by focusing strongly and utterly on the theme of text.

Greidanus is able to make a lucid connection between a variety of genres in the Bible, such as the Hebrew narratives, gospels and other sections. This connection demonstrates how even the more distinct sections of the Bible offer a strong degree of overlap, and even echo one another at times.
