Project Plan and Implementation
As an educator participating in the study abroad program in Latin America, I am excited to develop a curriculum project that will bring the rich cultural and historical experiences of the region into my art education classroom.
To begin, I plan to incorporate innovative ways to evaluate students' global competence, critical thinking skills, and tangible learning outcomes. One approach I will take is to use formative and summative assessments that are aligned with curriculum standards, such as creating rubrics that measure students' progress in understanding and applying cultural concepts and perspectives. In terms of the implementation of the curriculum project, I plan to integrate the themes and content from my study abroad experience into my existing art education curriculum.
Overall, I believe that by incorporating the rich cultural and historical experiences of Latin America into my art education classroom, I will be able to enhance the global competence and critical thinking skills of my students, and contribute to their understanding and appreciation of diverse perspectives and cultures. What follows is my curriculum project.

Latin America Starting from the very beginning of the Colonial Era, Latin America has been dominated politically, economically, socially and even physically by European powers. Spain and Portugal are famous for their conquest into this region of the world, but other European countries such as England, France and the Netherlands also had their hand in essentially taking over and reshaping Latin America. Latin America/China China vs. Latin America -- two studies in colonial influence Although both the Chinese and the Latin American geographic areas stretch across vast territorial expanses, the impact of colonial rule upon the Chinese nation and the Latin American region was notably different, throughout both areas' respective exposures to European domination. The first reason for this pertains to the centralization of political authority in China, before Europeans ever set foot upon

While it is mystical, it gives too much quiescence that is there with the impressionistic style. This like Picasso's painting above is a happy trip and does not exhibit as much negative energy as Picasso. He also does not seem to be trying to summon any primitive energies. Rather Seurat's
