With obesity, the effects on the quality of life of obese low-income housewives were explored through a study in Malaysia. The study inculcated 123 women with a group intervention of MyBFF@home study and a questionnaire to record the results after 6 months with a determined baseline. Behavioral change was observed positively for these women with a better quality of life quotient and less obesity.

Older adults and their complications with obesity have been studied in weight management programs with technological interventions. One such study involved a 6-month rural community-based video-conferencing intervention for adults above 65 years with a BMI greater than 30kg. Better physical mobility and functioning were observed with technology-induced intervention in their homes, which was also acceptable.

The study still has to reveal results and analysis; however, it is a valuable source for calculating intake of fruit and vegetables, carbonated drinks consumption and kinds of regular foods intake, conducting physical exercise daily, blood pressure rate and pulse condition along with initial BMI and height measurements for men in pursuing weight loss and reducing this segments proportion for obesity.

To ensure that proportion of obese adults is significantly reduced, appropriate screening is necessary. For this purpose, US Preventive Services Task Force updated the recommendations for screening obese adults. The interventions were in primary care settings, excluding surgical operations. The results showed that behavioral interventions posed the most significant results in reducing obesity and further produced positive health outcomes for diabetes 2 patients. The recommended body mass index (BMI) for a healthy weight is 30kg.
