The reason why I chose the position of assistant principal in an elementary school is because I enjoy the position of leader. I feel I can keep a school running well by implementing sound policy and promoting adherence to regulation and law. I enjoy a challenging environment and feel my communication skills will be able to help students and teachers. I also feel that the role of assistant principal will prepare me for the role of principal or even school superintendent.

c.

I am on my way towards earning a Master's degree. I also have experience in the classroom and will continue to develop teaching experience in the near future. I am also a strong leader and have worked successfully in groups/teams, leading them towards positive outcomes and goal completion. Finally, I am an excellent communicator and can apply the data I gather towards objectives in a thoughtful and concise manner.

d.

Although I do not have the Master's degree yet, I can explain I am on my way towards getting it. Furthermore, I in a couple of years will meet the teaching experience requirement and certification. I believe I have the practical ability to become an assistant principal, but am missing the core requirements that will be met in a short amount of time. I will try to focus on my current skills and my ability to lead effectively.
