The healthcare business has seen a surge of inventions aiming at improving average lifespan, health and well-being, screening and treatment choices, and the healthcare programs efficiency and performance. With a lot of organizations implementing Patient- and Family-Centered Care, management is necessary. The PFCC cannot deliver its promises unless the health care providers achieve greater understanding and support for the PFCC.

An innovative care delivery system

Healthcare innovation remains a driving factor in the ongoing effort to strike the right balance between cost conservation and healthcare quality. Business productivity and economic sustainability are seen to be dependent on innovation. New technologies open up a world of possibilities for product development. Innovation in health care is defined as the introduction of a new concept, idea, service, process or product aimed at improving treatment, diagnosis, education, outreach, prevention, and research and with the long term goals of improving quality, safety, outcomes, efficiency and costs (Omachonu & Einspruch, 2010). The use of technological advancements to enhance health care practices and interaction between patients and providers in innovative care delivery systems.

Patient- and Family-Centered Care Model as one of the care delivery systems.

Families have an essential part in giving care to people with health problems. As the prevalence of chronic illnesses rises worldwide, there is a pressing need to boost acknowledgment of family members contributions to care. Family-centered care considers both the patient and the relatives (What is PFCC? 2021). Patients and family members define how they should engage in judgment and consideration in patient-centered care, which improves health outcomes. According to this viewpoint, patients and families are crucial allies for safety and reliability in direct care contacts and continuous development safety efforts, health professional education, research, equipment utilization, and policy creation. Patient- and family-centered care is transforming patient care, boosting employee happiness, reducing prices, and improve quality of care.
