Brittany

Brittany highlights how in her current job as a student support specialist and a mental health advocate, she would be able to help students struggling with anxiety. To be able to help the said students, Brittany relates with her childhood and adulthood objects that made her accept her childhood experiences and also made her develop a sense of worth in the world as an adult. According to the World Health Organization (2022), childhood and adulthood are important stages in mental health. Adults can be able to assume their adult roles by acquiring social-emotional and cognitive skills that would help shape their future. In this case, Brittanys current life was shaped by the childhood and adulthood objects she highlights. This is more so the case given that her childhood experiences were addressed through shared love. Essentially, showing students love and compassion would ordinarily help decrease anxiety (Morin, 2021). In addition to this, there would be need to maintain consistence and discipline among students so as to ensure that they are be able to manage anxious situations.

India

India highlights that he had always had the passion of working with kids and adolescents. This has made him apply for a position as a school counselor. He is also excited about current courses in Child and Adolescent Counseling. In his work, India relates to a childhood movie and compares it with his life in an attempt to show how love was displayed. India also highlights an important book in his adulthood i.e. the Bible. In so doing, he demonstrates the relevance of trust and faith in life. Given that India works with children, he can be able to building trust by being loving and compassionate, as well as being available to lend an ear when needed. To cultivate trust among children, Morin (2021) points out that the relevance of providing opportunities for the said children to be independent cannot be overstated.
