Currently, I am employed as a full time professional academic librarian at the University of Washington in Seattle. This interesting and rewarding position has provided me with a great wealth of skills, experiences, and opportunities that will be easily and effectively transferred to the Ph.D. program in Educational Policy. My tenure as an academic librarian has given me a complete knowledge and experience of reference, bibliography, and information services, acquisitions and collection development, cataloging and classification of library and media materials, in addition to exposure to the application of computer...
