As a 15-year-old, I’ve noticed many friends talking about this online platform called Roblox. It’s been around for over a decade and has become a massive part of our virtual lives. I wanted to know more about what makes this platform so popular and the dangers it may pose to kids like me.

So, I decided to write this book to shed some light on the platform and to make people aware of the possible risks associated with using Roblox. I believe that information is power and that by understanding what Roblox is and how it works, we can help keep kids safe while they’re having fun.

However, I am concerned about my sister, who is seven years old and plays Roblox. She is exposed at too young an age to Roblox which is one of the most famous games played worldwide, which is a risk. Having chat boxes inside the game is an interesting feature but it can also be very risky for such a young child to have that online access (Tang et al.).
