Software needs
The most crucial part of our technology plan for the company is QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and customer relationship management (Hillemane et al., 2019). QuickBooks is key to the accounting system. It fits the small business need with automatic data backup, tracking earnings and expenses, and reporting. Microsoft office is but critical for preparing PowerPoint presentations, excel sheets, and word.
Customer relationship management is software that covers various business interactions that the firm has with its potential clients. This software may assist in ways such as; email response, analytics, marketing automation, customer services, and contract creation and management. This software system runs on the principles of assisting a business to improve client relations and enhancing customer satisfaction through communication and handling the organization in an organized way (Hillemane et al., 2019). The technologies utilized by customer relationship management are divided into three sections; analytical, co-operational, and operational. For our firm, we will have HubSpot customer relationship management software. The HubSpot system charges $150 per month; however, this fluctuates depending on the package.
Hardware Needs
The hardware part required for the enterprise include; Data Show projector, printers, tablets, monitors, routers, and computers. Mobile phones are needed to work with efficient distribution and ensure productive communication between clients and our company. Mobile phones will cost $500, computers $700, monitors $450, tablets $300, printers $400, and projectors will cost $100. One computer desktop at $200, an external hard drive at $50, a network server solution at $250, and a wireless router $100 will be needed for our companys efficient operations (Hillemane et al., 2019). All these requirements are to be got at a total amount of $3050.
Telecommunication Needs
The firm will utilize private network providers. This will ensure that mobile phones and computers are connected to the internet, and our employees can have smooth communication through emails and calls. The fax machine will cost $80. This will help with the efficient running of our business (Hillemane et al., 2019). Internet is crucial for the successful management of the firms website. The firms internet connection, including the installation fee, will amount to approximately $200 per month.
Personnel Needs
Generally, the firm will need an effective and active process starting from This can be attained by hiring both full-time and part-time workers to operate the business (Hillemane et al., 2019). Because the workforce for installing our firms telecommunication need will be outsourced, this will come to $700 per month. The employees will receive between $300 to $100 depending on their skill level and areas of expertise.
For effective communication to clients and supplies, the firm will use websites, telephone, social media, blogs, and company email (Hillemane et al., 2019). This type of technology needs the workers to be properly trained to use these technological products to communicate with our clients successfully. We have several mitigation measures in place that will help reduce our productions effect on the environment. The litter bins will help keep our premises surroundings clean because most of the waste generated from our firm will be disposed of there. Once the bin is full, the waste will be segregated so the organic one can be taken to fertilizer production firms. Other plastic wastes can be taken to manufacturing industries for recycling. Rainbow Smoothie has a proper waste management system in liaison with the Houston municipality, collecting the waste twice a week.Again, being that our products are eco-friendly, we are at a vantage position as far as environmental conservation is concerned. This will follow through to our packaging system, where we will consider eco-friendly and biodegradable materials. According to the environmental protection agency, the type of energy most enterprises use for their production is the biggest contributor to environmental pollution (Di Benedetto, 2017). Fossil fuel produces green-house gas when combusted-when the gas is released into the environment; it causes global warming, which has many negative effects on the environment.
