As a result, the company will result into numerous environmental problems. Packaging is indeed an essential part of modern life style. The loss from packaging is more rampant in the firms that process food and those in the system of distribution. In the countries that are still developing, packaging is a rare thing and sometimes, it does not exist. In such countries, there are frequently food losses averaging between 30-50%. Food packaging is capable of allowing the customers to fully enjoy a number of foods yearly and not during the times of the local harvest seasons only. Furthermore, food packaging is capable of decreasing rather than increasing the generation of solid waste (Testin and Vergano, 1991)

The organization should ensure that their operations are safe. They should not be harmful to the workers and also the people who are residing around the organization. The organizations should manage the emissions and releases of gases into the air. They should also strive to avoid the discharge of harmful chemicals into the water bodies.They should keenly note the environmental impact that their products are having all through their life cycle. Besides, they should maintain biodiversity. The organizations should help to tackle the problem of climatic change. They should always encourage their customers to use energy effectively and efficiently. They should also improve the energy effectiveness of their processes.

The external stakeholders do play a major big role in the organizations. They always have great interests in the activities that are taking place in the company. Due to the fact that they are playing a big role in the organizations, they constantly have to be updated on the performance of the respective organizations. A number of the stakeholders who mainly include the shareholders, outside community, government among others usually look at the external circles. On a number of cases, they look at what the corporations have done or what they are doing, whether good or bad. This they do by assessing the goods and services that are produced by the firms. They also assess the performance of the firms through their impact on the external environments and also on the local communities who are residing around the organizations. The stakeholders are also interested in how the firms are treating and developing their

The past financial performance is also looked at by the stakeholders, the effectiveness and efficiency of the management. As a result the management should strive to provide the stakeholders with information regarding the performance of the organizations for them to assess whether the performance is good or bad. They also need to be updated on the measures that have been put into place by the respective organizations to help the outside communities who are surrounding the organizations. They should also be updated on the various benefits that are given to the workers of the organizations.
